Crystal Renn, a size 12 model from Mississippi has walked for big fashion houses like Jean Paul Gaultier, Vena Cava and Mark Fast. She has also been featured in countless magazines but now she is making headlines after appearing on the Chanel Resort 2011 Runway last Tuesday May 11th.
She has written a book called `Hungry: A Young Model's Story of Appetite, Ambition and the Ultimate Embrace of Curve" This gorgeous model has proven that beauty comes in every size and is she is setting a great example by standing up for curvy girls everywhere!
Karl Lagerfeld is known for featuring extremely thin models in his runway collections and add campaigns. He started changing his ways last year when he used singer Lilly Allen as his muse.
This is definitely a step in the right direction and sets a great precedent for designers everywhere.
