This time the ladies did not disappoint. Sarah Jessica Parker paid tribute to the late Alexander McQueen in a black silk and lace gown and topped it all off with a Phillip Treacy tulle hat. I feel bad for whomever was sitting behind her during the movie though.

Today's 38C in Toronto so I started thinking of fashionable, fun and work appropriate looks for this summer. A short hemline can be balanced by wearing flats or leggings for work and heels are always the answer when it comes to dressing up your cotton basics like your tees, shirt dresses and your harem sweats (my favorites) H&M sells them for $17.99 CDN and they come in black, white, gray and beige. They also have a sportier version for $14.99 and they come in different colors also. This is a great way of wearing a trend without breaking the bank!!

I have to say I am a little unimpressed after seeing what the ladies of Sex and the City wore at their New York premiere last night.....

Their wardrobe choices were rather safe and predictable as opposed to the edgier looks we are used to seeing them wear.
