Add flats and a big tote during the day and replace them with a vibrant clutch and killer heels for the night. The perfect summer wedge!

After doing a very extensive research, I have found the perfect shoe for the summer.....the crocheted espadrille or wedge! My favorite ones are from Stuart Weitzman which retail for about $390 CDN and a more budget friendly version by Michael Kors on sale for about $170 CDN. They are so versatile and can be dress up or down, the look is super classic so they are a great investment and can be worn to work, out on the town or to run errands. Jennifer Aniston is a fan, she is known for her timeless and practical style. Need I say more?

These are some of my favorite ways to dress for work and to go out. I love mixing basic tees with dressy skirts or pants, it creates the perfect balance and makes it easier to dress them down. All you need is a couple of tweaks, a flat shoe instead of a heel, a shopping tote and voila! you are ready to run errands, go for a casual lunch or go shopping.

Fashion Crime, flip flops to work

This is the equivalent of wearing running shoes to work, I see girls every morning wearing beautiful outfits and then I hear the sound of something that should only be heard when running errands (debatable) or going for a swim, vacation or at home, the infamous flip flop. If comfort is the issue, there are really no excuses, you can find beautiful, dressier sandals everywhere for any budget. Some of my favorite ones are the t straps by Michael Kors, they have them in leather for about 125 CDN and they also have a jelly version for about 60 CD. Lets put the same effort we put into our outfits and mix comfort with style!
