Give your pants an instant update

Cargo, khakis, skinny, flared, dothi there are so many different styles out there for every taste and we are loving it!

If you are not sure you want to invest in a certain trend, try a few of this things and give your wardrobe a boost without spending the big bucks

There are ways to save money by making your pants more current. All you need to do is roll them up! Pair them with some killer heels and voila! you are done!

You can also change  the look of your pants by wearing a trendy belt, studded, roped, chained or even stack two belts if you are a bit more daring.

Please remember if you are going to wear a pair glamorous pants in silk or satin, try to balance the look out by wearing a more casual top like a chambray shirt or even a t-shirt. If you are wearing a dressy top, you can mix it with a pair of cargo pants or jeans to go for an effortless look. If you prefer to go all casual, remember accessories and jewelry are the way to take an outfit from day to night.

Here are some visuals so take a second look in your closet and get creative before you head out to the shops!

Military Chic is here to stay

TORY BURCH, CHLOE, CELINE, MARC JACOBS AND BALMAIN  are some of the most influential names in the fashion world. What do they have in common? they all seem to be giving their collections an utilitarian twist and we can't get enough!!

I've never been a fan of the camouflage print because it looked cheap but after being inspired by all these collections, I have learned that you can wear just enough of it and make your outfit super trendy.

Now you need to go shopping! This is such a popular trend, you won't have any trouble finding it in the stores no matter the size of your budget. You can also shop your closet, military green is the color you need to be wearing. Tops, outerwear, shoes, bottoms, accessories the sky is the limit. Remember my eternal rule though, try to keep it simple and do not make it a "themed" outfit. Mix it with white and walnut tones for a clean laid back look for the day or black, silver and gold tones for a night on the town.

Here are the visuals enjoy!

Clear and simple

Here's another one junkies, from see through bags to clear ball necklaces, this trend is too much fun to pass

Christian Louboutin and jimmy choo clear shoes are super sexy but the most predominant ones are the looks from PRADA Spring 2010 with the most amazing clear bags, glasses, shoes, with intricate embellishments and semi precious stones. Even if you cannot afford them, they are a great source of inspiration so go ahead and look in your closet of any hidden treasures or try stores like the Gap, H&M (the best spot for trendy on a budget) Zara and Aldo Accessories as they offer a variety of wallet friendly options like necklaces, sunglasses, jewelry and more!

Here are some visuals......

Are you on the same boat?

We are loving......NAUTICAL!!!

Wearing horizontal stripes can be tricky but its all about the "mix and fit" so make sure you combine them with solid colors and flattering cuts.

Red, white and blue are key colors when wearing this trend you can incorporate other elements in your outfit such as ropes, chains and novelty pieces but always remember to keep as simple so that you dont look like you are trying too hard.

This spring and summer give your wardrobe a twist by adding a cute striped dress and pairing it with some white leggins or jeans. There are plenty of choices from H&M to Lacoste and DKNY.

Nude Neutrals

Here are some great ideas on how to wear the new neutrals.  This spring we are putting tan, walnut, beige, butterscotch, pecan and peachy tones on the driver's sit.

The beautiful soft leather matched with earthy linens and nude pinks are what you should be wearing this spring, the best part? you can mix it up effortlessly with your existing wardrobe, for instance, you can add denim for a more casual look or throw in some black to give your outfit more structure. Utilitarian influences go hand in hand with this trend but we won't get into that just yet, I have another whole posting about army chic coming up.
The key to wearing nude tones without looking like pogo stick is to break down the outfit by accessorizing properly, pop some color with a belt, or chunky necklace, throw in a blazer and mix textures so that each piece stands on its own.

My suggestions for fashion and beauty:
MAKEUP: Mix bronzer or blush with beautiful corals for the cheeks and earthy tones for the eyes. You can do a peach lip and add lots of gloss
