My amazing encounter with Anna Sui

The American luxury brand designer visited the Sears Flagship store in Toronto today to promote her line of cosmetic products so I had a chance to meet and chat with her. She was lovely

Her brand is mostly known for her eclectic and colorful palettes. She mixes whimsical prints with luxurious fabrics for statement making looks. Every piece can also stand on their own and completely "make" an outfit.

It was a real joy meeting her.

Weekend jeans

The weekend has arrived and casual friday got me thinking about jeans.

This quintessential item is probably the most versatile and reliable piece in your wardrobe. When everything else fails, put on some jeans and your favorite t-shirt or tank to start, add a cardigan and flats for a casual look, a blazer and heels for a dressy look, a leather jacket and ankle boots for more edge, see where I'm going?
